Agrotech 4.0 centre launches programme to support agri-food companies

The sectoral competence centre in agri-food industry 4.0 “Agrotech 4.0 centre” launched a programme to support the implementation of Industry 4.0 in Tunisia’s agri-food industries, said German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). This programme targets companies in the agri-food sector, offering them a 4.0 roadmap and support “free of charge.” Training sessions on Industry 4.0 will be offered to selected companies. This action falls under the national initiative “Towards an Industry 4.0 in Tunisia” launched by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy with the support of the European Union (EU) and the Decent Work for a Just Transition- Invest for Jobs special initiative, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
