Qatar plans to open 500 retail spaces in Algeria as part of an ambitious project announced at the inauguration of the ‘Four Weeks Market’ in Algiers. This investment, which promises to create 10,000 jobs, is part of the drive to modernize Algeria’s retail sector. Commerce Minister Tayeb Zitouni also mentioned the development of a legal framework to regulate this expansion.
