Tunisia dropped one spot to 4th with 37 medals (5 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze) in the medal count of the Arab Sports Games-Algeria 2023, after the finals played on Friday.
On day 4 of the competitions, Tunisia bagged 2 gold medals by the national men’s Judo team and the women’s national bowels trio, as well as two silver medals won by the women’s judo team and Nada Chroudi in the shot put.
The four bronze medals were achieved by Hassan Anani in hammer throw, Abdessalem Laayouni in the 800m race, Habiba Belghith in swimming (100m), and the national mixed swimming team composed of swimmers Jamila Boulakbech, Ameni Souidi, Mohamed Khalil Ben Chaabane and Mohamed Ali Chaouachi.
