ARP Speaker sends two messages of condolence to his Moroccan counterpart and to President of Moroccan House of Councillors

The Speaker of the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP), Brahim Bouderbala, on Saturday, sent two messages of condolence and sympathy on his own behalf and on behalf of the ARP members to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talebi Alami, and the President of the House of Councillors of the Kingdom of Morocco, Naam Mayara, following the earthquake that struck many areas of the Kingdom.
According to a statement issued by the ARP, Bouderbala expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to all members of the Moroccan House of Representatives and Councils, to the families of the victims and to all the Moroccan people on this great ordeal. He prayed to Almighty God to grant infinite mercy and eternal peace to the victims, patience to their families and loved ones and a speedy recovery to all the injured.
A powerful earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale struck the Haouz region of the Kingdom of Morocco on Friday evening, according to the Moroccan National Institute of Geophysics.
Morocco’s official news agency put the toll at 1,305 dead and 1,832 injured, including 1,220 in critical condition, by 7pm on Saturday.
