An insulating sheath production unit will be set up in Bizerte and will be operational at the beginning of 2024, announced Mathieu Favier, managing director of the French group Favier TPL. The project will be carried out on a 6,000 m2 plot of land at a cost of 12 million dinars, he added during a meeting with the Managing Director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), Jalel Tebib, at the FIPA headquarters on Friday. On this occasion, FIPA’s Managing Director underlined his agency’s support for this project and expressed his wish to see it succeed in the best possible conditions. Since 1927, the Favier TPL group has specialised in the manufacture of insulation jackets and is considered a “European leader” in its field. The group has two production sites in France and Italy. Insulated ducts are ducts made of insulating materials that prevent fluids (air, water, refrigerants, heat transfer fluids, etc.) from losing their thermal energy between a point of departure and their point of arrival in a heating or cooling circuit.
