Cabinet meeting approves economic bills and decrees

Prime Minister Najla Bouden chaired a cabinet meeting on Tuesday at the Government Palace in Kasbah, during which the meeting approved a series of economic bills and decrees. These included a draft law approving the financing agreement signed on May 16 2022 between the Republic of Tunisia and a group of local banks to finance the State budget. /A draft organic law approving the accession of the Republic of Tunisia to the agreement establishing the African Finance Corporation. /A draft decree on the organisation of non-regular public road passenger transport. /A draft decree establishing the organisation chart of the National Office of Land Ownership. /A draft decree amending and supplementing Government Decree No. 2021-327 of May 5, 2021, establishing the missions of the Housing Property Agency, its administrative and financial organisation and its operating rules. /A draft decree amending Government Decree No 330 of 2018 of April 2, 2018, creating a management unit according to the objectives for monitoring the completion of the motorway linking Tunis to Jelma. /A draft decree amending Decree No. 2012-1224 of August 10, 2012, implementing the provisions of the Supplementary Finance Act for the year 2012 on the creation of the specific programme for social housing /A draft decree amending Decree No. 99-2129 of September 27, 1999, setting the composition and operating procedures of the advisory committee for granting permits to build and import fishing units. /A draft decree amending Decree no. 99-2130 of September 27th 1999, fixing the advisory committee’s composition and operating procedures for the fishing activities’ organisation. /Draft Decree establishing the two lists of drilling and water exploration equipment and their spare parts, benefiting from a discount on customs duties of 10% on import and exemption from value-added tax, when imported and manufactured locally, as well as the conditions and procedures for benefiting from these privileges. /Draft Decree relating to creating a management unit by objectives to finalise the implementation of the integrated programme for the depollution of Lake Bizerte and setting its organisation and operating procedures.
