Carthage Cement achieved a total turnover of TND 322.866 million in the third quarter of 2023, up 23% compared to the same period in 2022, according to the activity indicators of the cement company published on Monday by the Tunis Stock Exchange.
This improvement in results is mainly due to the growth in cement sales, which showed positive growth in both local sales (up 26% to TND 249.508 million) and export sales (up 14% to TND 46.806 million).
Carthage Cement thus maintained its position as the leader of the cement sector in Tunisia.
The company also reported a 35% increase in total sales to TND 16.425 million dinars at the end of the third quarter.
On the other hand, concrete sales recorded a slight decline of -3% to reach a level of TND 10.125 million, as at September 30, 2023.
