Cooperation: MoU signed between FIPA and GHORFA

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) and the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GHORFA), on the occasion of the 26th Arab-German Business Forum, held in Berlin from June 5 to 7, 2023, FIPA announced on Thursday.

The signatories of the memorandum, respectively FIPA representative in Germany, Saida Kahouli, and Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi, confirmed the strong cooperation between the two institutions in promoting foreign direct investment and tripartite partnerships between Tunisia, Germany and the Arab countries.

The memorandum aims to establish collaboration in order to exchange expertise, experiences and mechanisms for attracting investment, as well as information, publications and statistics relevant to potential investors.

It also aims to explore investment opportunities on both sides

support the participation of delegations from the countries concerned in seminars and workshops in cooperation with the relevant structures in the public and private sectors, and promote better coordination on subjects of common interest.

The signing of this agreement was supported by the Tunisian Embassy in Berlin in order to increase the chances of future collaboration.
