The EchaSb movement denounced, Monday, Tunisia’s participation in the 8th Union for the Mediterranean Regional Forum (UPM), in the presence of representatives of «the Zionist entity.»
In a statement released Monday, EchaSb called on Tunisia to terminate its membership in the UPM, urging the government to renounce participation in this Forum, in accordance with Tunisia’s position in favor of the just Palestinian cause.
The city of Barcelona hosted, on Monday, the 8th Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean. The countries on both shores of the Mediterranean as well as the Zionist entity.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, led the Tunisian delegation to this Forum.
In a speech delivered on this occasion, the head of Tunisian diplomacy condemned the crimes committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza, calling for prosecuting all those involved in these crimes before international court.
In its statement, the EchaSb movement stressed that the Tunisian people are aw
aiting the adoption of the law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity which provides for the boycott of such events.
