A working session on preparations for the establishment of local councils and the drawing of lots for regional councils was, held, Tuesday at the headquarters of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE).
It brought together ISIE President, Farouk Bouasker, and a delegation from the Interior Ministry.
The session focused on a series of organizational measures to be taken for the success of the final stages of the electoral process and the establishment of the elected councils on time and under the best conditions, the ISIE said.
Bouasker insisted on the importance of coordination so as to ensure cohesion between decentralized authorities.
The working session was also attended by ISIE Deputy President Mohamed Naoufel Frikha, ISIE Executive Director Ridha Missaou, and member of the Council of the ISIE Najla Abrougui.
