Kairouan Second Chance School opens its doors to school drop-outs

The Kairouan Second Chance School opened its doors on Monday, targeting school drop-outs aged between 14 and 18, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training.

The creation of the Second Chance School in Kairouan aims to provide support for young people who have dropped out of school and to facilitate their social and economic integration, reschooling, resumption of training, rehabilitation and acquirement of general skills and development of their life skills.

The Kairouan Second Chance School was set up as part of Tunisian-British cooperation and in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), under the supervision of the Tunisian Vocational Training Agency, which reports to the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training.
