The Oued Ellil delegation, the second largest in the Manouba governorate with more than 209,000 inhabitants spread over 7 imadas (electoral districts), is currently witnessing the start of the electoral campaign for the December 24 local elections.
26 candidates, including only 3 women, are standing for election in this delegation, which has 15 polling stations.
The candidates for the local elections are spread over 7 constituencies in the Oued Ellil delegation: two in Ennajet, four in El Qobaa, four in the town of Oued Ellil, three in Essaida, four in Hay El Ward, three in Sanhaja and five in Eriadh.
Four candidates with disabilities will be selected by sortition.
