Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka has promised to construct a storey classroom at Munjeche Primary School as well as procure land for expansion.

The MP said the funds will be drawn from the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) kitty.

‘Enhancing Khwisero’s Education sector requires collaborative efforts in infrastructure development and stakeholder engagements,’ he said.

Aseka spoke on Monday in Kisa West ward when he visited the school to inspect the ongoing construction of classrooms courtesy of NG-CDF.

He said the move reflects his commitment to expand and modernise education infrastructure across the constituency to enhance access to a better, safer, and more inclusive learning environment and deliver a more holistic education to learners.

The MP later laid the foundation stone for constructing the state-of-the-art multi-purpose hall at Mwihila Boys Secondary School, which will provide a haven for the events hosted by the school and the community.

Aseka also received a copy of the institution’s strategic plan for 2023-2027, highlighting its successes, challenges, and mitigation strategies for the school’s advancement.

‘We are aiming at elevating this school to national school status with a continued positive performance trend,’ he said.
