Olive harvest down in Kef

The olive harvest in the governorate of Kef is estimated at 7,160 tonnes, including 895 tonnes of table olives, down compared with recent years. This season’s production will provide 1253 tonnes of olive oil, down 26% compared to the previous year, according to a report by the Local Authority for Agricultural Development presented on Wednesday at the governorate headquarters. The olive harvest will be earlier than usual ( November 10) in the region, running from October 30 to February 28, 2024, the same source said.
