Tunisia’s Olive Oil Board (French: ONH) announced Thursday the launch of the 7th edition of the best extra virgin olive oil contest.
The competition, sponsored by the International Olive Council, is open to individual producers, producer organisations and packaging plants, the ONH said.
The contest is organised in a bid to select the best olive oils which offer the best organoleptic features. Samples will be taken starting November 27 until January 12, 2024.
Only 2023/24 season extra virgin olive oils meeting a set of conditions are entered in the competition.
