The People’s Movement urged all peace-loving people to increase demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip. In a statement issued, Saturday, the movement called for a united front against the «arrogance of America and the West which govern the world against the will of the overwhelming majority of humanity and protect the most dangerous racist colonial entity in history.» The summit of Arab countries on Gaza held in Riyadh is “a bitter disappointment”, amid the escalation of Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people and the continued heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians, reads a statement of the movement on Saturday. The Arab Summit declaration is “a high betrayal of the Palestinian people and the Resistance in the occupied territories. It highlights the impotence of the Arab regimes to confront the Zionist entity,” the same source said Tunisia voiced reservations about most of the points included in the resolution issued by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit held, Saturday, in Riyadh, with the exception of three points, namely the immediate cessation of the brutal Israeli aggression, the need to work on the immediate entry of urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and the lifting of the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip and throughout Palestine.
