Stock market ends Monday’s session on positive note

The stock market started the week on a positive note. The Tunindex rose by 0.34% to 8,735.91 points at the end of Monday’s session, with a very low trading volume of TND 1.4 million

There were no block trades during the session, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs.

CIL shares were the best performers, with a total transaction volume of around TND 22,000. Shares in the leasing company rose 4.3% to 22.000 TND.

As the most active stock of the session, SFBT attracted the largest trading volume of TND 212,000, representing 15% of market activity.

SFBT shares showed a positive trend during the session, with the alcoholic and soft drink specialist’s stock rising 2.1% to TND 13.780.

SPDIT shares were among the biggest gainers. Shares of SICAF rose 2.9% to TND 10.300. Trading activity in this stock reached TND 59,000 during the session.

ICF shares, on the other hand, suffered the biggest correction of the day. With a trading volume of TND 22,000, the shares of the aluminium fluoride specialist fell by 3% to TND
64.000.

TELNET shares were among the biggest losers. The technology company’s shares lost 3% to TND 5.140. Trading activity in the stock amounted to TND 49,000 during the session.
