Thirteen bodies of undocumented sub-Saharan migrants were recovered on Wednesday night off Sfax by National Guard units, while 25 others were rescued, said the National Guard’s General Directorate.
A smuggling network specialising in the transport and transfer of sub-Saharan migrants from Tunisia’s western borders to the governorate of Sfax has been dismantled. Two smugglers were arrested, according to the same source.
