The stock market closed Wednesday’s session in red, down 0.17% to 8458.97 points with a high volume of TND 22 million, said stock market broker Tunisie Valeurs. Six block trades worth a total of TND 18.9 million on Attijari Bank shares boosted the trading. GIF shares were the session’s best performers, rising by 3.2% to TND 0.320 with a low volume of TND 2 thousand. SOTIPAPIER shares absorbed some of the losses of the previous session, posting an 2.3% rise over the session. Trading in the stock reached TND 19 thousand. Tunisie Leasing and Factoring shares posted the sharpest fall of the session, with a trading volume of TND 17 thousand. The leasing company’s share price fell by 4.5% to TND 11.270. ASSAD shares were among the session’s worst performers. The battery accumulator’s share price dropped by 2.6% to TND 0.750. The stock was traded for TND 33 thousand. Attijari Bank shares were the most traded, accounting for 86% of the session’s volume thanks to six block trades totalling TND 18.9 million.
