The Health Ministry, Tuesday, organized a workshop on «consolidating partnership between the various health sectors in order to develop a common action plan for the implementation of the Health approach and address health threats impacting people, animals, plants and the environment.»
The meeting seeks to coordinate efforts and develop mechanisms meant to apply the “one health” approach according to international health standards so as to promote the health of individuals, animals and environment as well as find sustainable solutions to pandemics.
Director of the Basic Healthcare Directorate and Representative of the World Health Organization in Tunisia Ibrahim Ezzik and Environment Minister Leila Chikhaoui took part in this workshop which will run until December 7.
