Tunisia, Sultanate of Oman discuss boosting cooperation in educational field

Tunis: Boosting cooperation between Tunisia and the Sultanate of Oman in the education sector by modernising mathematics and IT, developing technical and digital education and providing care for people with disabilities were discussed at a meeting held Monday between Education Minister Salwa Abassi and Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Tunisia Hilal Abdullah Ali Alsanani.

The meeting further helped review new prospects for technical cooperation, notably the promotion of teacher training programmes and sharing experience in the digital teaching and cutting-edge technologies fields in a bid to promoting sustainable development in the educational process and improving skills in both countries, reads a ministry press release.

This meeting further reflects the two countries’ commitment to boost technical cooperation, strengthen bilateral relations in the education sector and promote the education system for the benefit of future generations, the same press release reads.

The meeting was attended by a high-
level Omani delegation, Chief of Staff Mohamed Nouira and Director General of the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (French: ATCT) Mohamed Blidi and Education Ministry officials.
