Yatenga: Azara Dramé bids farewell to governorate staff

After 29 years of service to the Nation, the technical advisor to the governor of the Northern region in charge of cultural issues, Azara Dramé/Sinaré, has asserted her retirement rights. The farewell ceremony was held on July 31, 2024, in the presence of the governor of the Northern region, Issouf Ouédraogo and staff.

In her message, during her farewell ceremony on July 31, 2024, Azara Dramé/Sinaré, expressed her recognition and praised the quality of working relationships and the consideration she received from her superiors and collaborators.

‘This is a solemn moment to convey to you my sincere gratitude and all my appreciation to all for the accompaniment and support I received during my stay in the Northern region,’ underlined Ms. Dramé.

She was delighted to end her professional career in Ouahigouya in the Northern region where in August 1988 she did her national popular service internship.

Azara Dramé/Sinaré, provided advice to the younger generation, who are responsible for continuing the work of p
ublic service.

Zongo, then the governor of the Northern region, were full of praise for Ms. Dramé.

The Secretary General, Kouilga Albert Zongo, mentioned the modesty, simplicity, availability of Ms. Dramé, are virtues that deserve to be shared with the younger generation.

He then thanked him for all the services rendered to the governorate and elsewhere to Burkina Faso before wishing him a happy retirement.

As for the governor of the Northern region, Issouf Ouédraogo, he said he had a feeling of both joy but also pain, that of seeing a good servant of the State leave.

‘You are a model servant of the State. Despite your age, you are always on time for service and you invest yourself properly. We will always remember you,’ he said.

And added ‘You are leaving but know that when you retire, we will not hesitate to contact you if necessary’.

Ms. Dramé joined the civil service in September 1994 as an assistant teacher, before moving to the job of cultural affairs advisor in 2011.

After a stint at the centra
l level, she joined the Northern region where she took up service on July 2, 2018, as technical advisor to the governor of the Northern region in charge of cultural issues.
