The Malian beach basketball team (men) have qualified for the semifinals of the discipline at the African Beach Games in Hammamet, as they secured their second win, Wednesday, at game 2 against Benin, 21-02. Earlier in the afternoon, Mali bested Rwanda in game 1. Group 2 involves Mali, Rwanda, and Benin. The first team of each group qualifies directly for the semifinals, while the seconds of each group are sent to a face-off against the thirds of each group.
