Tataouine: The "Association Développement Sans Frontières" (ADSF) (Development Without Borders) in Tataouine on Tuesday announced the launch of the project "Tataouine Towards a Sustainable Future," which will run for a month and focus on climate change and clean, renewable energy.The project, funded by the Arab Institute for Human Rights by means of around pound 10,000 (TND 33,671), entails the organisation of training sessions on water reuse and the production of renewable energy for members of women's entrepreneurial groups, project coordinator Fatiha Amairi told TAP.Under the same project, awareness campaigns will be conducted among young people via social networks, as well as among children in primary schools, through the creation of a pilot unit for the reuse of waste water in one of the region's schools, she added.The ADSF will endeavour to support the State's efforts to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on disadvantaged groups (particularly women farmers), and to encourage the adopt ion of renewable energy sources, mainly the green hydrogen project, ADSF President Habib Ben Habib pointed out, adding that a production unit will soon be launched in Tataouine.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
