Botswana on Wednesday inaugurated the Moshupa Sewerage System, a new wastewater treatment plant located in Moshupa village in the Southern District. The facility, which has a network of over 360 km of sewerage pipes and a treatment system capable of handling 6.3 million litres, also includes ten pumping stations and a 4.7 km access road. President Mokgweetsi Masisi highlighted the importance of the project in ensuring access to safe drinking water and sanitation services, for agricultural development and public health.
