Bouderbala kicks off second parliamentary session 2023/2024

All the MPs are willing to break with the shortcomings and failures seen in the past, Speaker of the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP) Brahim Bouderbala said on Tuesday at the opening of the second parliamentary session (2023/2024). Bouderbala called for the need to make every effort to restore public confidence in the institution of parliament. “Success is a shared responsibility that requires pooling efforts and placing the interests of our country above all other considerations,” he pointed out. Bouderbala outlined the parliament’s achievements during the previous session, which had kicked off in March 2023, and which has managed over a short period of time to finalise its rules of procedure and set up its various structures before commencing its activities. Tuesday’s plenary session, which kicks off the new parliamentary session, was attended by Cultural Affairs Minister. The session will continue the examination of the draft law amending decree-law no.121 of November 17, 2011 on public establishments for cultural action and a draft law amending law no.113/1983 of December 30, 1983 on the the 1984 finance law.
