There are many Cameroonians who are being fooled into believing that they can have white-collar jobs in Nigeria. Cameroon News Agency has shed light in the past, on hundreds of Cameroonians who travel to West Africa in countries like Ghana, Guinea, Mali, and Ivory Coast for jobs that never existed. When they are lured to these fake jobs, they become victims and are also forced to lure their friends back home to come and 'work'.Recently, there has been an influx of Cameroonians into Nigeria, looking for jobs that are promised to them.The Tanyu Mike Foundation uncovered a hidden location where these Cameroonians are kept and forced to lure their friends back home to send money or send their relatives to come and also work in an imaginary company.There were more than 10 victims who were taken from a tiny house and preparations were made to send them back to Cameroon.Pastor Tanyu Mike, the owner of the foundation said each person has pushed their families to cough out hundreds of thousands.'We took thei r passports and snapped them so that we could get back to their families. Some of them have returned because that day after counseling, many of them regretted everything…as I am talking to you, there are about four people that we need to send back, that is they arrived, and we have blocked them to send them back, they have not seen the guys yet.'Source: Cameroon News Agency
