Ouagadougou: Chengdu City, in southwest China's Sichuan Province, will host the 2nd Golden Panda Film Festival from September 12 to 13, 2025, with 5,343 entries from 126 countries and regions. The jury will award 27 prizes in four main categories: film, television series, documentary, and animation. The most anticipated awards include Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenwriter.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the festival is seeing strong international participation, with 3,910 foreign works submitted for competition. This enthusiasm confirms the Golden Panda's growing influence on the global film scene. Created to foster cultural dialogue and promote the diversity of artistic expression, the event provides a unique platform for encounters between creators, film professionals, and the general public.
