_: Coastguard units from the Central region rescued 41 sub-Saharan African migrants involved in two irregular sea border crossings off Sfax and recovered a body that was handed over to the health authorities.

According to a statement from the Directorate General of the National Guard, units from the Sfax region of the National Guard arrested nine people, including smugglers and middlemen, and seized an outboard motor.

The necessary legal measures have been taken, it added.
