Post: Education Cabinet Secretary Grants Interim Authority to Consolata International University

Nairobi: Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba, alongside Chairman of the Commission for University Education Prof. Onyango Awino, has signed a letter of Interim Authority (LIA) for Consolata International University. The signing ceremony took place on 20th August 2025 at Gigiri, Nairobi, marking a significant milestone for the institution.

According to Kenya News Agency, the letter of Interim Authority recognizes Consolata International University as the 82nd institution authorized to operate as a university in Kenya. This authorization allows the university to carry out its activities with the full mandate of university status. The event was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, the Principal Secretary of the State Department for Higher Education, along with senior officers from the Commission for University Education.
