The network brings together the municipalities of Sousse, Agareb, Hammamet, Bizerte, Sfax, Zriba, Nabeul, Monastir, Redaief, Radès, Sidi Bouzid, Awabed khazzanet, Beni Khiar, KalSat el-Andalous, Msaken, El Amra, Ghezala, Teboulbou, Benbla, El Manar, Shekhila Toujene, Beni Hassane, Sejnane, Bechri-Fatnassa, Nagga and New Tabarka.

The FNCT said a digital support service had been put in place since 2022 to provide technical assistance and digitisation consulting for muncipalities.

The programme has so far helped seven municipalities draw up their digital transition strategies throughout the stages of the measurement of indicators of digital maturity, the identification of objectives in line with priorities
and the development of digitisation projects.

A launch workshop was held on May 10-12 in Sousse. The network’s charter was drafted along with its action plan and training programme for the period to come.
