The German company PSZ Electronic, which specialises in the manufacture of electrical cables and wires, will open its 4th unit in the Ghezala industrial zone in the Bizerte governorate in January 2024.
Situated on a 20,000m² site, this unit will create 3,000 jobs over three years, representatives of PSZ Electronic Tunisia said at a working meeting on Tuesday with the CEO of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia), Jalel Tebib, the CEO of the Agence Foncière Industrielle (AFI), Kais Mejri, the head of PSZ, Béchir Labben, and the delegate of Ghezala, Ibtissem Hamri, and their staff.
PSZ is a leading German group specialising in the manufacture of cable harnesses for public works and industrial equipment. It produces 80% of its world production in Tunisia, according to FIPA.
The company already has three units in the Sahel region, employing 1800 people.
