Post: Gourma/Entrepreneurship: 60 Young People and Women from Kompienga Provided with Career Kits to Boost Their Activities

Ouagadougou: The NGO AVAD, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), distributed career kits to 60 young people and women from the province of Kompienga. This initiative, which took place on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Fada N'Gourma, aims to enhance the economic activities of the beneficiaries.

According to Burkina Information Agency, nationals of Kompienga province who reside in Fada N'Gourma received various job kits. These kits include essential tools such as sewing machines, motorcycle washing kits, weaving looms, hairdressing kits, school energy facilities, and equipment for poultry production. The provision of these resources is part of a broader strategy to improve employment opportunities and self-sufficiency among the local population.

In addition to the distribution of career kits, the recipients received training in financial and business management. This training is expected to equip them with the necessary skills to manage their new resources effectively.

The beneficiaries conveyed their appreciation to the donors and committed to utilizing the facilities efficiently to enhance their business activities. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards empowering young people and women in the region to become more economically independent.
