Passore: The High Commissioner prohibits the wandering and transport of animals in the CMA of Yako.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Passore, Daouda Sangare, invites the people of Yako to avoid bringing animals into the courtyard of the Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) of Yako. In a press release dated August 29, 2025, which the AIB learned of on Saturday, September 6, 2025, the High Commissioner of Passore, Daouda Sangare, said he had been informed of the intrusion and regular transport of animals into the premises of the Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) of Yako.
The High Commissioner emphasized that the presence of wandering animals in the CMA courtyard poses significant risks to both the quality of care provided and the safety of patients and medical staff. The press release highlights the detrimental impact such practices can have on an environment that requires strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
The provincial authority has urged the local population to refrain from transporting animals to the CMA, stressing the potential harmful consequences. In addition, Daouda Sangare warned that individuals engaging in these practices would face legal repercussions.
