Tunisian kayaker Slim Jemai has secured his qualification for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games by winning the gold medal in the African qualifying tournament, organised at the end of last week on France’s Réunion Island.
According to the Tunisian National Olympic Committee, Jemai will compete in the slalom event. He will be the second Tunisian representative in this sport, along with Ghaylène Khatteli, and the 15th Tunisian athlete to qualify for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games, scheduled for July 26-August 11.
