Kenya: BURN partners with EIB for USD 15 million financing

Kenyan eco-friendly cooking appliance manufacturer BURN has signed a USD 15 million loan agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB). The financing will support the distribution of BURN’s ECOA electric induction cooker to homes across East Africa, providing a cleaner and safer cooking alternative. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Nairobi, the company employs over 3,500 people and is committed to sustainable cooking solutions in Africa.
