Nairobi: Kenya is actively engaged in the 5th Singapore-Africa Ministerial Exchange Visit (SAMEV), being held from August 26-28 in Singapore. The Kenyan delegation is led by Dr. Abraham Korir Sing'Oei, Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, representing Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.
According to Kenya News Agency, this high-level ministerial gathering convenes representatives from 13 African nations to deepen diplomatic relations and foster cooperation with Singapore on sustainable development and economic growth. 'Kenya values this opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with Singapore, especially in areas such as urban development, innovation, and climate resilience. A central feature of the visit is participation in the 8th Africa Singapore Business Forum (ASBF), organized by Enterprise Singapore.
