Post: Kenya to Showcase Investment Opportunities at TICAD 9

Yokohama city: President William Ruto has arrived in Yokohama City, Japan, for the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), which begins on Wednesday.

According to Kenya News Agency, at the conference, the President is expected to position Kenya as the gateway to the East African region and the wider African continent while showcasing investment opportunities in infrastructure, special economic zones, agriculture, energy, ICT, and digitisation.

He is accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Musalia Mudavadi, alongside other senior government officials.
