Sixty-eight candidacies including 8 people with disabilities, for the forthcoming local elections have been filed so far in Tunis 2. The highest number of candidacies (22) has been filed in Bardo, said the Tunis 2 Independent Regional Election Authority (French: IRIE). Besides, seventy-three candidacies were filed in Tunis 1, including 7 of people with disabilities. The highest number of candidacies (17) were filed in the Sidi Hassine delegation. The candidacy filing operation kicked off on October 23 and will run till November 1.
