Lawyers representing the President of the Cameroon Rennaissance Movement, Professor Maurice Kamto have written to the commander of the Gendarmerie Legion in Bafoussam, West region, to inform him that their client will not respond to a summons on July 11, 2024.They cited their client's international duties as he is currently in the Hague taking part in the Academy of International Law meeting.They enjoined Colonel ABBA SAIDOU to allow their client to respond to the summons during the first week of August 2024, requesting him to send them the necessary documents that outlined his summons and the exact reasons.Meanwhile, two party bigwigs, Albert Ndzongang and André Marie Tassa are expected to respond to the summons today in Bafoussam.Source: Cameroon News Agency
