Post: Nakambe’s First Patriotic Immersion Class Concludes in Tenkodogo


Tenkodogo: The governor of the Nakambe region, Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana, presided over the closing ceremony of the first compulsory patriotic immersion class in Tenkodogo, attended by the constituted bodies, the defense and security forces, and numerous guests.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was marked by emotions and pride due to the progress made by the baccalaureate students during their immersion stay. Colonel Lamizana praised the transformation among the participants, acknowledging the initial challenges but celebrating the final demonstration as a success. He emphasized that this first class will be remembered and serve as an example, urging the young participants to share their experiences with their communities.



The training aimed to instill values such as patriotism, integrity, discipline, social cohesion, and civic-mindedness. At the conclusion of the immersion, a charter of commitment was adopted by the Class of 2025 to guide their future actions. Sami Berenger Pooda, president of the Tenkodogo special delegation, expressed satisfaction with the students’ enthusiasm, describing the immersion as a school of civic duty and commitment. He encouraged the students to embody national values and praised the instructors and authorities for their support.



The participants expressed gratitude to Captain Ibrahim Traore, the initiator of the compulsory patriotic immersion, and reaffirmed their commitment to respond to any national call and defend the homeland. The ceremony featured performances and demonstrations, culminating in the adoption of a charter outlining missions and values such as patriotism, civic-mindedness, resilience, self-defense, environmental protection, and respect for cultural diversity. Through this commitment, the young participants position themselves as agents of change, advocating for a united and forward-looking Burkina Faso.
