Post: Passore Graduates Lead Sanitation Effort at Yako Medical Center

Passore: The new graduates of Passore organized a major sanitation operation at the Yako Medical Center with Surgical Unit (CMA) on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The initiative aimed to create a healthier and more welcoming environment for patients, health personnel, and visitors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the graduates, equipped with dabas, machetes, and gangs, gathered in the early hours to clean the courtyard of the medical facility. This operation was part of their training in Ouahigouya, which emphasized citizenship, patriotism, and community engagement through a compulsory patriotic immersion program in the Yaadga region.

Dr. Ousseni Sawadogo, Chief Medical Officer of the Yako Health District, expressed his gratitude to the graduates for their responsible citizenship. He highlighted that their efforts would significantly improve the conditions for patients and enhance the working environment for health district agents.

The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie and support, reflecting the values of responsibility and community service promoted by the patriotic immersion initiative led by the country's highest authorities. The sanitation effort also underscored the graduates' commitment to taking tangible actions for the community's well-being.
