Prime Minister Najla Bouden met with Minister of Religious Affairs Brahim Chaïbi, on Wednesday, at the Kasbah Palace, on the occasion of closing the 2023/1444 pilgrimage season. The activities carried out by the Tunisian pilgrims’ office during the Hajj season and the return flights of Tunisian pilgrims from the holy sites were the focal points of the meeting, as stated in a Prime Ministry press release. Bouden voiced satisfaction over the success of the pilgrimage season, commending the efforts of all parties involved in ensuring the smooth conduct of the Hajj rituals. Some 10,982 Tunisian pilgrims completed the Hajj rites this year. The team accompanying the faithful was made up of 520 members.
