Tunis: President Kaïs Saïed met on Monday at the Carthage Palace Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Lotfi Dhiab.
During the meeting, the Head of State reviewed the obstacles and barriers encountered by citizens in setting up communitarian enterprises. These enterprises have proved their effectiveness and efficiency in several governorates of the country.
In this regard, the President of the Republic stressed the need to remove these obstacles as much as possible, adding that the attraction of young people to the creation of these enterprises must be supported by a continuous effort on the part of all stakeholders.
The President of the Republic also called for the draft revision of the Labour Code to be speeded up in order to put an end to the “reign” of subcontracting and fixed-term contracts.
“There can be no progress or development without justice,” President Saïed emphasised.
