President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, expressed his satisfaction at his meeting in Rome on Sunday with President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, regarding the solid relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries.

Saïed emphasised the promising opportunities open to the two countries, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, water desalination, health, education and other sectors, said a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.

This meeting, held on the sidelines of the participation of the President of the Republic in the International Conference on Development and Migration, also provided an opportunity to express the joint determination to boost Tunisian-Emirati cooperation, for the benefit of both countries.

The meeting also focused on the issues addressed at the International Conference on Development and Migration.
