Post: Presidential elections: Tunisian expats may vote at any centre on polling day, says ISIE Spox

Tunis: The Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) Board adopted Wednesday a decision under which Tunisian expatriates may vote at any polling centre on election day (October 4 and 5), regardless of the centre where they are registered, said Spokesperson Mohamed Tlili Mansri.The decision was made during a meeting chaired by the commission's president Farouk Bouasker.This decision, approved during the presentation of the operational plan for the 2024 presidential elections, aims to streamline the electoral process for Tunisians living abroad, the official further told TAP.Mansri announced that the ISIE council has decided to approve all of the seven challenges filed against the preliminary electoral lists posted on Saturday and Sunday (July 6 and 7) at the headquarters of regional election commissions and on ISIE's official website.In accordance with the schedule released last July 4, the ISIE said challenges can be filed on July 8-9 at th seat of local commissions during working hours and via email for expatriates.Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
