Tunis: On the occasion of the 69th observance of the proclamation of Republic, President Kais Saied issued a special pardon on Thursday for 2,439 prisoners. The initiative marks a significant moment in the country's history as it celebrates this important national event.According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Head of State also issued instructions to grant conditional release to an additional 490 prisoners. This decision was outlined in a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, highlighting the government's commitment to addressing issues within the penal system.
