Kakamega: Governor’s spouse, Prof. Janet Kassilly Barasa, has been crowned as the Champion of the ‘Okoa Maisha ya Mama Na Mtoto Initiative (OMMI). The crowning was conducted by Priscilla Oparanya, the wife of Former Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, during a meeting held at the Office of Prof. Janet Kassilly Barasa.

According to Kenya News Agency, in her address, Prof. Barasa expressed gratitude for the honour and pledged to build on the legacy established by her predecessor. ‘This is not just a crowning; it is a call to action.
