With the end of the year fast approaching, the Tunindex is accelerating its upward trend. The benchmark index closed Thursday’s session up 0.9% at 8724.9 points, as reported by stock market broker Tunisie Valeurs.
Since the beginning of the year, the benchmark has posted a modest performance of +7.8%. The session saw a slowdown in trading compared to the previous day’s session. A total of TND 7.7 million were traded on the market.
The TELNET HOLDING share continues to recover. The share of the engineering and technology consulting specialist was the session’s top performer, rising 4.9% to TND 7.450. The stock also stood out in terms of volume, with TND 913,000 traded during the session.
ALKIMIA’s shares were among the session’s biggest gainers. The share price rose by 4.5% to TND 28.490 on a low trading volume of TND 24,000.
SERVICOM shares continued to fluctuate and ended the session at the bottom of the index. With no transactions, the share price fell by 4.3% to TND 0.220.
Attijari Leasing shares als
o performed poorly during the session. The shares of the leasing company, which is backed by the Attijari Bank Group, fell by 2% to TND 17.030. The volume mobilised by the stock was limited during the session, reaching TND 16,000.
Délice Holding was the star performer of the session. Shares in the national champion of the dairy industry rose by 1.7% to TND 11.650. Délice Holding was the most demanded stock of the session, feeding the market with capital of 1.5 million dinars (i.e. 19% of the stock market flow).
