Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe government announced on Wednesday the investment of 11 billion 100 million FCFA for the year 2024 in the relaunch of BRAFASO's activities and the restructuring of companies in difficulty.The Burkinabè government adopted on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers a report relating to the specific projects for the year 2024 of the ministry in charge of industrial development.With a total cost of 11 billion 100 million FCFA, 'these specific projects concern the construction of infrastructure and the acquisition of identified goods and services within short deadlines'.This concerns in particular the carrying out of infrastructure rehabilitation work on the former BRAFASO site and the acquisition of raw materials as part of the start-up of this juice production factory.It also involves the establishment of a marking and traceability system for tobacco products in Burkina Faso, the provision of transport services and the acquisition of equipment.According to the government, financ ing is provided by the 'BRAFASO recovery' and 'restructuring of companies in difficulty' treasury accounts, 2024 management.Source: Burkina Information Agency
